the gut healing smoothie

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 cups coconut water

1 banana, frozen

1 cup peaches, frozen

1/2 avocado, peeled and pit removed

2 cups spinach

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp hemp seeds

1 oz collagen powder

1 tbsp lemon juice

METHOD

  1. Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!


TIPS

No spinach: Use kale or beet greens instead.

Sweeter: Add honey.

Creamier: Use coconut milk or almond milk.

Storing: Make ahead and store in sealed jar. Shake before drinking. Keeps for one day. It will be thick due to fibre in the ingredients.

Meal prep: Place everything in a freezer bag except liquids. Multiply this for a week's worth. Add liquid when making fresh.
